Mr Lookout…

Mr. Lookout at 10 am today

or is it “Ms”?

For the past two weeks I’ve photographed new jewelry pieces I created for the Spring and Summer to add to my Etsy store. Directly across the way, a cat has sat in the window peering out, to what I am not sure, as I photograph from my window. I’ve named the cat Lookout.

Lookout has been constantly on my mind lately…I guess you can say Lookout has perplexed me each day as I work. Look at him now. This photograph was taken at 10 am this morning.

I read frizztext’s post last night on Clever Cats and it came to me that Lookout is probably dreaming up something clever?…has an outlook on something I don’t know about?…or could it be, Lookout is in a state of melancholy suffering from the usual state of winter blues?

I raise my head from my photography set up from time-to-time to look out for Lookout…a tiny glimpse of my day.

  1. my sympathy goes to the cat “…in a state of melancholy suffering from the usual state of winter blues…” – P.S.: I made a walk through the sun today, but my clever cat stayed at home: she knew, that a big shower, raining cats and dogs, would me make wet to my skin before I was back home again …

  2. i loved this! my housemate and i were just this afternoon making up a hilarious story for the background of our cat – we decided he is a 13 year old, adolescent teenage boy cat. his name is dumbledore and he just wandered into our home just before i moved in. we had the giggles big time, deciding that the reason he is always hilarious chatty and seemingly moody but super affectionate, is because he’s an adolescent boy…a hard time, right? ;) it made us laugh, so i hope it did you. i now can’t look at him in the same way. especially seeing as we think he is just off hanging out with his mates at parties all night, and all his girlfriends too.
Lookout looks lovely and a nice companion to have across the way. I reckon he/she is scheming up its next adventre or reminiscing about his last. x x

    • Yes, I wonder too? He was sitting in the window this morning just staring out….I’ve looked out myself to see if something was happening…I even walked across the street last week to see if there was a bird’s nest or something..I don’t know.
